The idea of this project comes from Gianluca Apollaro (computer technician) and Massimo Tagliata (musician and arranger).
The entire proceeds from the sale of the CDs will be donated to the "OSARA" development project.
Osara is an application that makes Reaper, a music production software developed by Cockos, accessible to screen readers.

The development of this application was started by James Teh, author of the free NVDA screen reader; then other people came to work with him to form a group of professional computer technicians, all around the world, to deal with the development of accessible music software usable by blind people.
The aim of the research project is to allow blind people to use professional musical technologies for recording , mixing and mastering. .
This way blind sound engineers can work in complete independence using the best performing and current PC programs.
Many people collaborated to these albums, people who live in different countries and states, who have worked together to produce these songs through the network:
singers, musicians, arrangers and sound technicians.
Many of them, especially those in charge of the technical part (mix and mastering), are blind and operate in full autonomy thanks to the results of this ongoing research activity.
The albums are published digitally and will contribute to a fundraising to subsidize the research.
