wesderby Excellent vocals, and I love how it goes from a standard-sounding pop/adult contemporary tune to a lfat-out symphonic metal-inspired masterpiece. And...The vocalist is awesome as well. Favorite track: Pat-a-pan.

Nick Giannak III I was so privileged to be involved in creating this. Anna recorded her vocals and 'ukulele in my studio, then after a series of unfortunate events, Scott Chesworth took the project on and read my mind. Something so professional that originated in my space...it's a real heady feeling. Favorite track: Sister Winter.

about

Christmas time is here, and the Christmas Reapers are back for their 2021 album, marked by more collaboration than any effort before it. All proceeds will, as always, be donated to the development and community infrastructure surrounding OSARA, the open-source accessibility extension for the digital audio workstation REAPER, which made every track on this album possible. We have new artists as well as veteran voices from albums past, and arrangements that defy their genres. From the instant you press play and are greeted with the haunting strains of new artist Anna Paulette’s rendition of Sufjan Stevens’ “Sister Winter” to the moment you’re nursing your bruised ribs after the hilarious finale from community stalwarts David and The SpreadEagles parody song “Driving Home for Christmas,” this album will take you on a musical and emotional tour de force.
The musicians and audio technicians come from the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, the philippines and Italy, sometimes on the same song. Old friends assume new roles, new friends create magic just by sheer force of talent, and comfortable boxes are shattered in the creation of this year’s genre-defying arrangements.
The featured artists come from diverse backgrounds and abilities, from blind audio professionals and students to sighted lawyers and landscape architects. This album, to a greater degree than its predecessors, is proof positive that sighted musicians can collaborate with vision impaired producers, generating results beyond the expectations of all concerned. The music is the only thing that counts…And that’s as it should be.
